Speciality dining on Azura.....Olly's Supper Club

I have already written about speciality dining on Azura in the past, but here is something you can't book.

Everyone has read about Sindhu and Seventeen and the fact that you can get food in The Glasshouse, but when I was on board and having a nice relaxing lunch in The Glasshouse, my wife and I were approach by the Manager, Nestor and asked if we would like to join him and a small select number of other passengers for 'Olly's Supper Club'. Something we could not turn down!

So what is it?

Well, an evening of about 10 passengers, with a meal prepared in The Glasshouse kitchen with a glass of wine specially chosen by Olly Smith to go with each course. Added to which you get Nestor's wit, charm and description to each of the wines on offer.

Yes it costs, but no matter with the company, charm and excellent food it was well worth it.

On most cruises they do 2 or 3 of these evenings, and you have to be asked by the Team but it was well worth it just to listen to Nestor's stories and tales!

  1. The supper club is an elitist event not open to all. The Retreat is the same, some can pre-book most cannot. Some obviously could also pre-book 17 as no popular times were available.

  3. I've heard that if you have a friend sailing on Azura a little before your sailing date you can ask them to make your bookings for you ;)
